Hi everyone! I'm Mahui Duque, an illustrator and designer from Cali, Colombia. I have extensive experience creating graphic novels, comics, and illustrations for both print and digital media.
I graduated from Pontifical Javeriana University in Cali with a degree in Visual Communication Design. Although I’ve always loved the world of design—especially editorial—it quickly became clear that my true passion was illustration and comics. Early on, I made a conscious effort to incorporate illustration into every design project I worked on. This approach helped me blend design principles with illustration, giving my work a strong sense of purpose and audience awareness.
I’m responsible, detail-oriented, and love approaching projects with curiosity and an open mind. I feel just as comfortable working independently as I do collaborating in a large team. Above all, I’m passionate about the communicative power of design and illustration—the ability to visually capture ideas and emotions.
